What goes on in Grade 6 at SPH

The Primary Years Program that we run here at SPH teaches kids to be inquirers and problem solvers. Last week was the culminating event of the elementary school program: the PYP Exhibition. Each 6th grade student had to identify a problem with a natural resource that Indonesia is faced with and look for practical solutions to solve or correct the problem. This student focused on the problem of hunger due to food wastage and uneven distribution. It was great to guide them through the process of struggling to get a handle on the complexities of each problem to the final culmination of proposing solutions. Posted by Hello
