We had the chance to take a break from the hot, dusty ruins to soak up some culture in the hot springs of Hieropolis. This was once a place where the Roman elite would come to escape the stresses of city life. It is said that Mark Anthony and Cleopatra even came here! If you look closely, the 'stones' we are sitting on are actually broken columns and capitals from the fountain that surrounded this natural spring.
