History Makers!

A few weeks ago the city of Jakarta hosted Delirious; the first big-name Christian band to come to Indonesia. This British group decided to live up to their song 'History Makers' and come to the largest Muslim country in the world; inspite of travel advisory warnings against all non-essential travel to Indonesia, of threats of cartoon riots and not knowing how well they'd be received. It was exhilarating to be part of the 4,000+ crowd; singing, clapping, praying and jumping!
It's been exciting to realise that I can be a history maker right here in Indonesia, helping to train and teach the future leaders of Indonesia to be inquirers, problem solvers and disciples of Christ! This country is going through incredible challenges and changes right now and I feel priveledged that God has called me to Indonesia to be a part of that equation.
