This pie shaped carving was found all around the ruins of temples and buildings. We soon learned that it was not random grafitti, but another early Christian symbol like the ichthis. Cem used the Greek letters written above to recreate this pie shape. It was an easy way for first century Christians to discretely tell someone where their allegiances lay. A non-Christian would think it was a random symbol, while a believer would recognise it immediately.
