The Turkish climate was quite dry, which was a refreshing break from the humidity in Indonesia. This is the view from our hotel as we stood out on a balcony enjoying a cool, crisp evening. It was probably 20 degrees, but after 30+ degree days and nights that is cool:) The mountains of Western Turkey reminded me of Pachuca, Mexico (my first teaching post).
